b) I must confess, this really isn't my "era" when it comes to names. The only ones I could see myself using are Valerie, Maureen, Elizabeth, Sandra, Anne, and Jennifer - though the last probably just as a middle name, due to it being SO POPULAR in the states. Seriously, for almost 20 years it was the #1 name for American girls. The only girls' name more popular than that, and for a longer period of time, was Mary. And Mary needs to take a nice loooooooooooong break.
