Anne and Mary are far from boring - but due to extensive use may have lost charm; which is common for (once) popular names. I do not know (of) many Charlottes, so to me, the name is rich--especially with warmth & distinction. The beginning "sh" sound - rather than the "Ch" sound softens the entire connotation. Morrigan and Morgana, if not twin brother and sister, are still children of the same earth, and would play together nicely as alternates.
