Pandora
I really like this name however I think people will always associate the name with the myth of Pandora's box.
What are opinions of this name, do you think it can be used or to associated with the myth.
What would be some good middle names

Of course it can be used. And of course it is too associated with the myth. How annoyed would you be if everyone commented about the association? I think that's deciding factor of whether it can be used by you.

Of course it is usable. Being associated with the myth is not a bad thing. Pandora is sort of the Greek mythological equivalent of the biblical Eve, and that name is quite common. Most people will probably think of the jewellery company on hearing the name.Pandora Daphne

Well, at least in our lifetime Pandora will always be associated with the myth, but it's up to you whether or not that bothers you. A lot of names are associated with stories, but that doesn't mean they are unusable.I actually think first of a really funny (mildy famous but not really) drag queen named Pandora Boxx, though I'm sure most people wouldn't think of her!Pandora is a beautifully rounded name though, I've always like the Pan- sound very much. Some middle names:
Pandora Helen
Pandora Rosemary
Pandora Mona
Pandora Viola
Pandora Virginie
Pandora Eugenie
Pandora Judith
Pandora Therese

I love, love, LOVE Pandora! It's my all time favourite girls' name, and I really don't mind the myth, in fact I like the tie to Greek mythology, which also gives it the brilliant 'All gifted' meaning. I'm actually more concerned about the commercial links, like the jewellery franchise, and the radio, but the latter to a lesser extent as there is no Pandora radio where I live. They still don't put me off, since I think it's a beautiful name with a lot of personality and a feisty, adventurous feel that I adore. It's very likely if I have a daughter her name will be Pandora. As for middles Pandora's my one and only combo with 3 middles (Pandora Amy Valencia Fae meaning All gifted Beloved Strong Faerie); pretty long but it honours several people (real and fictional) who are very dear to me. I love the idea of having a middle that adds to Pandora's meaning :).Pandora Fae/Faye
Pandora Marigold
Pandora Kitty
Pandora Valentine
Pandora Beatrix
Pandora Xanthe
Pandora Maeve
Pandora Sky
Pandora Sylvie
Pandora Hermione
Pandora Tesni
Pandora Imogen
Pandora Cerys
Pandora NayeliI'll stop there, but I have quite a few more.

Well, since Pandora is an unusual name, most people only have heard of it in connection to the myth. Therefore, yes, I think most people will always associate it with the myth. However that doesn't make the name unusable. It just means that the parent would have to decide whether they like and appreciate the connection or find it annoying. We hated the Silence of the Lambs connection to the name Clarice... and we ended up using Clarisse and making sure we knew of some other references for the name - like Rudolph's girlfriend in the Christmas Claymation series, The Princess Diaries connection, and the Clarice in the Percy Jackson series. In the case of Pandora - there is also the Pandora Radio, Pandora bracelets, and there are a couple of actresses and literary characters named Pandora as well. Pandora Gail would be lovely as a combo. Some others:
Pandora Louise
Pandora Willow
Pandora Linnet
Pandora Madeline
Pandora Therese
Pandora Isabelle
Pandora Joyce
Pandora Elise
Pandora Danielle
