One of my favorite students when I was working in schools was called Brielle, and I think it works quite well in real life. I like it and would definitely not be upset to see it used. I think I actually like it better than Gabrielle.I like Summer well enough, it's pretty and I like the seasonSawyer for a boy is charming

I decided to look up Brielle and saw that it's a short form of Gabrielle. I hate Gabrielle because of the "gab" sound, so it makes sense that while I hate Gabrielle I like Brielle.

Yeah, the part of me that dislikes nicknames as full names makes me want to like Gabrielle more but like you, I dislike the 'Gab' sound. Brielle is much better IMO :)

Ditto what both of you have said - and interestingly I love Gabriel! Definitely a different sound in the beginning though.
