Alexander is a popular name,so it's not too much Alexander the Great. Margaret Thatcher didn't stop you from using the name, and neither did Benjamin Franklin, so why would Alexander? It's not that Alexander = Alexander the Great, it's when it's combined with Philip (of Macedonia, his father). :)

But that's it.Only history nerds will get it. I only got it because I read Alexander the Great mysteries a few years ago.
