STAGE NAME HELP
Hi Guys, I really need your help.
I am changing my name as I am an actress and no one can bloody pronounce my real name. I am of Russian/ Bulgarian descent but I have been living in the UK for a very long time. As an actor, I would be considered a western actor with an American accent. Due to that I have to change my name as I do not want to be type cast. There are many beautiful names out there but they need to sound good with my first name and they cannot be too American or too posh as then it is too obvious of a lie. With the help of my friends I settled on Maria Mercer, however, I find it too basic and a bit boring... I then realized that I do want to keep a bit of Slavic in my surname so I shortened my mother''s Maiden name and it became Maria Pavlov. Lastly, I have always loved the name Novak... So that would be Maria Novak. It is extremely hard to find one and settle that's why I am asking for your help! Please tell me which you like most and whether you may have other suggestions! So grateful in advance!

Well, Pavlov is about as Russian as it gets, and is strongly associated with Pavlov's drooling dogs.
Maria Novak sounds very good, and easy to pronounce. It's obviously Eastern European, but it's not uncommon in the US and , I assume, the UK.
