Where do your favourite names come from? Give me some examples. Mine are mainly from France and England.

I agree with the others choices, Ancient Roman and Ancient Greek are big favorites of mine, names like:
Roman: Aemilius, Eligius, Julius, Regulus (basically most names that end in -us), Anatolia, Emerentia, Herminia
Greek: Archimedes, Hyperion, Euphranor, Nicomedes, Euphemia, Apollonia, Lysandra, Euphrosyne, Pherenike
But I also have a lot of love for French and Japanese names:
French: Régis, Edmé, Anatole, Gaël, Arthémise, Émeraude, Faustine, Eulalie
Japanese: Asahi, Kanata, Riku, Natsu, Suzume, Hiiragi, Kaede, Yuzuru
And to a lesser extent Persian/Arabic, Basque, German, and Spanish. Of course my love for names isn't just limited to a few areas.

Most of my favorites are German, but there's a strong Norwegian presence on my PNL.

British, Irish, Scandinavian, French, Arabic, Hebrew, Latin, Greek, Spanish, Russian.
British, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Latin, and Greek sound the most familiar culturally, I guess. I just like the sound of a lot Russian, Scandinavian, Irish, and Arabic names (some examples: Dmitri, Avdotya, Nadya, Lazar, Ingemar, Helga, Astrid, Ulrika, Ernst, Ivar, Gustav, Bergliot, Siobhan, Fiachra, Oisin, Grainne, Omar, Rasul, Ruya, Hadiya).
I've noticed I tend to like popularity lists from France, Chile, and Israel more than most other countries.
(some names in the semi-recent top 100 of those that I like: Isidora, Amalia, Pascale, Magdalena, Camila, Dominga, Luciana, Noemi, Noga, Celeste, Renata, Martina, Agustin, Benjamin, Tomas, Jose, Lucas, Juan, Gabriel, Ignacio, Bruno, Daniel,

Please try to consolidate your posts. As in, try not to have one post after another after another after another, ask several questions in one post. This keeps other threads from being pushed off the page while people might still be interested in them.

I'm Italian so my favourite names are from there. Also Ancient Roman and Ancient Greek names from mythology.
English and French names catch my attention too. I especially like the Celtic ones: Scottish, Irish but also Breton names.
Actually I like names from everywhere: I'm trying to manage ny PNLs with a geographical criteria. They are in working progress.
Hebrew and Japanese names are currently very interesting!
