Is the name Tovia male or female? I've found suggestions that it is either so I'm quite confused!

Tovia is a Hebrew name meaning "G-d is good". It is male (check Tobiah and Tuvya, since "b" and "v" are the same in Hebrew).
Tovia isn't a form of Tova to me, because Tova is a word name (like, for example, Diamend or Diamiond wouldn't be a form of Diamond).
