Add name
I've tried a couple of times to get the name Trishna added to the database by e-mailing it in, but the person (Mike I think?) who's responsible for it hasn't done it yet. I'm wondering if he ever got the messages, or if they bounced. If I post it, the meaning, and the origin here is it more likely to be added in?I won't include a gender, because while it's mostly used to name female children, I have heard of at least one male usage of it.

Be patient, o grasshopper :-)Mike is a very busy man, and it can take over a year for a name to be added to the database. But it will, eventually, be included if Mike finds the name's meaning and all that is accurate.Miranda

I'll keep that in mind, but if I add it here, is it more likely to be seen by the busy fellow? There's also the fact that I'm not actually sure he got the e-mails... Things can get lost around the place in cyber space.

NopeHe still occasionally checks here, but's a safer bet is to either e-mailing him or post it on the Test Board (http://www.behindthename.com/bb/list.php?board=test).Miranda

Your name comes from the French Canadian Iroquois Indian tribe. My great great great grandmother was named Twishwina and over the years it changed to Tisheena and other spellings. It means Windwalker, and there is a movie out about it called Windwalker. Twishwina was an Indian Princess, and I am her decendant.

1. Make your own post next time--this isn't a Congressional bill and thus, there's no need for riders.2. The shift key is your friend. So is the space bar, the period key. Use them. Additionally, pay a call to your friend Spelling--he's missed you and would like a visit.3. Your name is probably simply a combination of the name Sheena with the prefix Ta-. It's a less-common prefix in comparison to La/Le/De, but it's the same sort of thing. You can click on Sheena for more info.Array

. . . 4. It could also be an elaboration of Tasha, a nickname for Natasha.
