Madeleine under various spellings is moderately popular. I'm more familiar with the name Alexa than Alexia. I know a couple Alex-s but no one called Alexander. Craig and McKenna and Elizabeth and Matthew and Addison are names that I've known maybe one or two people called. The others (Donovan, Lachlan, Rylan Brook) seem fairly out of the ordinary to me (not in sound, only in usage level). I like traditional names, personally--saints or flowers--but that's just me.

I taught high school for 10 years and I never heard any of those first names.

If you click on the links for your childrens' names, you will see a link in the entry labelled "popularity". If you click on that, you will see the US popularity for that name. The links are in your post, but here they are again:Alexia
Madelyn
Donovan
Alexander
Lachlan
Craig
Addison
Matthew
Rylan
Brook
McKenna
ElizabethAs a side note, Lachlan is a lot more popular in Australia than in the US.I see that you've made the same post on the opinions board - people will give their opinions there (and not on this board).:-)
