I have a feeling that the 2nd poster was being rudely sarcastic.

I intended to be helpful, so the person who asked the question could look up any name he's interested in. I apologize if it came across differently or if I usurped a thread; it wasn't my intention.

You didn't usurp the thread, the person whom you replied to (joyced) did.
I didn't think you were being rude either. You were giving the same information that the rest of us give, and rather *more* politely than we sometimes do!

I posted under you to say, in effect, "in addition to what Jen said, don't usurp other people's threads, joyced".
I suppose, though, it could be construed as me telling you, Jen, off instead of joyced. Sorry about the confusion there!
