No, this person is confused. In English speaking countries, Harry clearly goes back to the medieval English pronunciation of Henry. There is a Greek male name which is sometimes spelled "Hariton" or "Chariton" in the Roman alphabet, and I'm sure that Greek immigrants to English-speaking countries have sometimes used Harry as the English form of that name, but Harry itself is not Greek.
