hello, thankyou very much for your kind response. i don`t know whether you are familiar with the site www.hejleh.com/tree/names.html ? I have been looking everywhere on how to spell the names of both my partner and myself and stumbled across the site i have just mentioned.I would like to know how our names are spelt, pronounced and written in arabic. If you have time could you please take a look at this site and give me your guidance and opinion. Maybe you know of another site which could help me more?

Well, the site has all the information you need, but the subject is a bit complicated I suppose. I could send you a drawing of both names in an email. That would be a lot easier than explaining it all in words.

I'm not sure what form Arabs use for the English name Michael, but I think it's mim-ya-kaf-lam. If you want to see what that looks like, go here http://www.webpersonal.net/jordimastrullenque/arabe/arabizometro.en.html and type MIKL.
