Lovely glittering name however as others have said in England AVIVA is the #1 largest general insurer and in Canada it's the second largest so to my ears Aviva = insurance. It's also an insurance company in China, India and Ireland (⁎•̛̣̣꒶̯•̛̣̣⁎).

If I wasn't in the UK I would consider this. AVIVA is a huuuge insurance company over here and brings to mind call centres and car crashes so unfortunately the name would not work, it would be akin to naming a child Walmarty which is a shame because it's otherwise very very lovely.

This is my middle and Hebrew name.
I know one girl who’s Hebrew name is also Aviva from Hebrew school and one girl who’s first name is Aviva from sleep away camp. I think Aviva is a pretty name and wished it was used more here in the States.

Unfortunately it's the name of an insurance company in Britain. I think it used to be called something like Norwich Union until a few years ago. It's a shame, really, because it's pretty & I'd like this name more if it didn't make me think of that company and their awful TV adverts.
