Kees Moeliker, a Dutch biologist and winner of the Ig Nobel prize for his observations of homosexual necrophilia amongst ducks (Anas platyrhynchos).

The name Kees is not derived from CORNELIUS, but from CORNELIS.
Cornelius does hardly occur in the Netherlands, but CORNELIS is very common.
Other derivatives are COR, CEES or NELIS. [noted -ed]
