I think
Riley is ok. And I hear it more often for boys than girls around here. I do prefer it on a boy.
Having gone through life with a unisex name, I can only remember one occasion where a teacher I hadn't met yet assumed I was a boy because of my name. And
Riley, sort of like my name is closer to being equal for both genders than a lot of other names (I.E.
Madison,
Delaney,
Kennedy, etc...).
