I'm trying to come up with a cute combo for Vera... something a little different, a little fanciful. Not for a human, mind you, but for a pet... though I like human-y names on my pets (my kitty is Sylvie Lael & my pup Laurel Ivy). She would be a white kitty, if that makes any difference to you.

Currently I'm feeling like something earthy or perhaps a virtue name would be quit suiting.

Some names I've tossed around
Vera Magnolia - my current fave
Vera Jubilee - tossed by a friend for bad connections
Very Glory
Vera Saffron - sounds like I'm trying to hard.

Anything fanciful, whimsical come to mind?

I always loved Vera Marguerite. One of my sister's friends is named that.

Vera's a cool name. This is my Grandma's name (She never liked it). Her Middle names are Claire and Mae. I think they're both very good so how about Vera Claire or Vera Mae.

Damn you Hollywood. Clarice is perfect (purrfect? Again, the cold, sorry) other than that.

I feel like Magnolia may be too fanciful to yell at a cat to make her get off the table.

Vera Saffron reminds me of Very Saffron.
But I like Glory a lot.
Vera Faith / Vera Grace / Vera Gloria / Vera Scarlet came to mind.
