[Facts] Maryn?
Does anyone know the origin or meaning of Maryn? It's a new favourite of mine, but I can't seem to find out anything about it.

Iris,I just posted a little bit ago looking for the pronunciation of Maren. Maren is listed in this database as a danish variant of the name Marina.I also remember this name from the movie Braveheart - William Wallace's ill-fated wife was named Maren.

No, the name of William Wallace's wife was Murron, not Maren.

Maryn seems to be a creative spelling of Marine

I concur . . .I've seen it, spelled Marin, as a surname a number of times. Definitely related to Marinus.
