Makes me think "Viva" as in "Viva Las Vegas" which is a bad thing :(

I almost like it but it seems too much like a product to me--perfume, bottled water, allergy medication, I can't decide which it seems like a more appropriate brand name for. The sound isn't bad but it's a bit too commercial-ish for me to really get behind. :-/

I agree...And here's why-https://www.avivacanada.com/lol, they've been my step-dad's insurer for years. While I think the name is so beautiful and when my daughter was born early one Spring morning this year part of me wanted to call her this, but I just couldn't get past the insurance thing (oh, that and my husband hated it!). It's too bad when good names suffer from bad/unnecessary associations ;(

Pretty sound, though just looking at it makes me think of Tel-Aviv. Random, I know. :P

I adore Aviva! It's sweet and snappy but still mature. Vivi is an adorable nickname, too.

I've noticed it is a name that a few of us have been using in our favorite lists.I think it is a very vibrant name. :)I pair it with Adelaide usually.

Love it!It's refreshing, spunky but also feminine & elegant enough to imagine it on a pretty princess! It's near the top of my list.

It's a gorgeous, unique name. It immediately reminds me of Delphi_Blue, because of one of her combos is Adelaide Lucy Aviva.

PalindromesI only think of the Todd Solondz movie "Palindromes". So creepy and hopeless. Thus, I'd never use the name even though I like a good palindrome now and again...

It's pretty and has a sweet, simple meaning.

Love Aviva. It's my choir teacher's daughter's name, not to mention it's very pretty. It's also my friend's Hebrew mn.

I love, love, love it. It's a long time member of my favourites list. :) It just sounds so 'vivacious' (I think it's the 'viv' part) and fresh. And palindromes are always nice. :)

I love it! I adore the sound and the meaning is sweet. I fell in love with the combo, Aviva Soleil ("Spring Sunshine"). Aviva's one of my top 5 girls names at the moment and I also like nn Vivi which Julia already mentioned.

Love it...see sig. I'm having doubts about Adelaide atm but still fully intend to use Aviva as a mn for future 2nd DD (lol) as it has special meaning to me. Plus it has a gorgeous meaning, and there's something just so sweet and fresh about it. Plus palindromes are always cool ;)

Cute and girly, but a bit common and too cutesy to have a real personality/feeling.
