I've always loved Eve. Evie is a cute nickname too. As an aside, one of the most stunning girls I ever knew was named Eve!

I like it. Although I prefer it as a nn for Evelyn.:-D

I like it and I think it is a classic. I would be more likely to use Eva myself, but I do truly appreciate Eve.

I love the simplicity of Eve and would use it if I could.

I do like the name Eve, but to be honest I prefer Evie. Eve does work with a lot of names though and is good as a fn or a mn.

I love Eve. It's got mystery, sexiness, intelligence, warmth, punch, beauty, and poetry all in one incredibly short name. It's astounding to me.
One of the most well-rounded names I can think of.

I really love it. It's sweet but still sharp and sophisticated, and Evie is an adorable nickname.

It's ok, so so... I prononce it ev, by the way, not eev.

I love Eve. It's one of my favorite female names...so simple and sweet, but strong at the same time.I love the nn Evie for it.ETA: I also love the imagery the name brings to my mind, i.e. evening...twilight...clear starry nights...

Eve is my secret number one favourite name for a girl--it and Evening tie. Both nicknamed Evey, of course. ;) I think Eve is a lovely name; I think it's sweet and pretty for a girl and professional and sexy for a woman, and it's pretty much the only name I feel comfortable pointing to as an example of an honestly sexy name. I think it's great all around.Array

Secret?I'm curious--why is it secret?

It's not really secret--I just mean that I don't generally mention it. People get confused enough by my names that I'd be afraid people would read "Evening/Eve" as "I'd name her Evening and call her Eve". :PBut "secret" (or better yet, sekrit, but I'm not in the mood for being yelled at for internets-speak ;) sounds much more dramatic.Array

Eve is a rather bland name in my opinion, and I don't really like the reference to the first woman either. I guess it would be a good name for the oldest girl in a family. Really its too short and a bit boring.
