[Opinions] Imogen
I have been thinking alot about this name- it is one that both DH and I love- A couple of questions:1. What kind of person do you invision with this name?
2. Do you think it is trendy? I live in Canada so it seems as though most names popular in the UK do eventually become popular here.
3. I really want to use the middle name Anne after my mother but I'm not sure about the repeated 'n' sound- Imogen Anne- the other middle name I would consider is Alice after my grandmother so it would be Imogen Alice- I prefer that but I do really want to use Anne- thoughts?
4. The set would be: DSD Natasha, DD Scarlett, DS Malcolm and DD Imogen- do you think it fits?

1. an artistic, quiet girl with dark hair and dark eyes. 2. Not trendy at all, it's Shakespearean! Even here in the States it's not trendy, Canada? Far from it!3. Imogen Anne is pretty, but Imogen Alice is stunning. The only way I could combine them is by sound: Imogen Alison. but then it's rhymey. I'd go with Imogen Alice myself and save Anne for another. 4. Natasha, Scarlett, Malcolm & Imogen would be a smashing sibset! you've done marvelous meshing your style with his! For what it's worth, Imogen is on my list as well: Imogen Violet Jane.

I love Imogen!1. I think of a sweet, intelligent girl with brown hair.
2. I know it's trendy in the UK, but I live in the US and it's not even ranked and I've never met one.
3. I don't think Imogen Anne sounds too bad, although Imogen Alice is better. Have you considered Imogen Alice Anne?
4. I think Imogen would fit in nicely with your other children's names.

1. A cute baby :)
2. No, not popular ENOUGH in my opinion.
3. Imogen Anne is lovely, but Imogen Anna is a true gem. Imogen Alice is also exquisite. I have had Imogen Susannah (Susannah after my mother) on my own short list.
4. Yes, it fits in very nicely.Lovely choice!

I like Imogen, and I certainly don't consider the name trendy -- it's Shakespearean! Imogen Alice is lovely.

I really like this name. There's a girl in my new drama club called Imogen and she has very long dark hair and brown eyes, which is weird because I always imagined someone called Imogen to have green eyes and blonde hair. I always imagine a really happy, optimistic, daydreamy person quite good at creative things like art. I don't think it is trendy, it hasn't been appearing on loads of BAs or anything, and its quite a timeless name.
As for the mn, I would be inclined to use Alice. Maybe if you later have another child, you can use Anne as mn for them?
