I love Skye obviously, I prefer the spelling Skye because it just looks more complete with the e on the end, I feel that way about some other names too like Shaye and Brooke.
I don't really see it as trendy, though alot of people do, I think Skylar and other Sky type names are. I prefer Schuyler anyway over Skylar.
I have only known 2 other Skyes, they went to primary school with me. The other day a lady (about 25ish) came to the door, she was selling something. Anyway she said her name was Sky (this spelling) and she was really excited to meet my daughter cos she said she'd never met anyone with her name before.
I also heard a mum call her daughter Skye/Sky (not sure of the spelling) at the shops a little while ago.
We get alot of compliments on it. :)
