[Opinions] Re: Inna
I met an Inna once. She was from Russia. It's on my long list. It shouldn't be, since it's rather slight and feels more like a nn than a formal name. But I have a thing for feminine "i" names and Inna just charmed me. Callie -- OK, but only as a nn.Margolaine -- Pretty sound, but I need more information. Obviously it's a variant of Margaret. But is it made up, or does it have history?Meredith -- I shouldn't like it because I dislike most surnames as fns. But I have a soft spot for this one because the sound is so smooth and unexpectedly feminine sounding.Mia -- Sweet and zippy. Love it.Mary -- Sweet, nostalgic, regal, saintly, historic, literary. So many great associations in one name. It's time for a comeback.Millie -- Sweet, but only as a nn.Mae -- Lovely and nostalgic.Matilda -- Great history, and reminds me of waltzing. Fun!If you're asking what I think of these names as a sibling set, then I can't give the thumbs up -- too same-y.
