[Opinions] Nina and Dagny?
Our daughter goes to music class with a little girl named Dagny, I think it's cute and unique and we are still struggling with last minute doubts about our baby girl name choice. I am due on Wednesday with our second girl. Our name choice has been Iris Caroline but wdyt of Dagny Caroline?Does it have the same sentiment as Nina Victoria?

Nina's pretty. Dagny would likely be unattractive to many. I'm not really a fan of Iris either, but it's preferable to Dagny.

I think Dagny is absolutely fantastic. Really, it's such an excellent name. However, I think Iris works a lot better with Nina (I'm assuming Nina is your daughter?). But then it all depends on how important it is to you that your kids' names match well.I love both Iris Caroline and Dagny Caroline. I think the flow on the former is slightly better. What about Dagny Iris?

I know a little Dagny too - she's gorgeous and it's a great name. I do think Iris goes better with Nina, but Nina and Dagny sounds fine.

I have a friend named Dagny, haha. But I say definitely stick with Iris. It's lovely, and I agree that Nina & Dagny is too much "nee" sound.

Do you know whether your friend likes her name?

Well, it isn't her given-by-birth name. Her mom wanted to name her Dagny after some literary character, but her dad wouldn't let her so her given fn is Heather. But she goes by Dagny & that is what most people call her. As far as I know, she likes it since she chooses to go by it instead of Heather.

It's the pregnancy hormones. Stick with gorgeous, classic, elegant Iris Caroline. You won't be sorry. Oh, and get off the internet. Idle hands make for the devil's naming choices. :-)

I'm really fond of both of of your choices. I think I slightly prefer Iris with Nina, but I don't really think you can go wrong ultimately.

Although I'm very fond of Dagny, I think Iris complements Nina much better.

agreeDagny is lovely, but Iris and Nina are darling and perfect together. But it's good to know that you have a second choice if the baby does not look like an Iris to you! :)

Ooh! Dagny is awesome. I think it's a little too much nee sound with NEE-na and dahg-NEE but they are both sweet, fun names. I like Iris Caroline a lot, and I think a little more than Dagny Caroline, but with those name options I think you can't go wrong. Also I know some people think Iris is an old lady name, and I definitely don't get that vibe from Dagny.
