My favorite forms of Mary are Mariam, Marianne, Maribel, Marie, Marieke, Mary, and Mieke. (I also love Marigold and Rosemary if they count.)
At present, I don't know a single Mary, Marie, or Maria! I had a great aunt Mary, though, and I had a friend in high school named Maria (she's in her late 30s now).

The only form I really like is Maria. I don't like Mary on it's own at all.
My granny was Mary and her daughter (my aunt) was also Mary (she would be in her mid-sixties now and my granny would be 95).
There is a woman at work in her late 30s or early 40s called Mary.
My brother had two Marys in his year (they'd be 30 now).
A friend's girlfriend is Mary and she is only about 20.
I have known a lot of Marys in the past, but can't think of any others off the top of my head. I associate it with women aged at least 40, even though I do know some younger women called Mary. I cannot really picture it on a child at all.
Although I think of Marie and Maria as being popular names, I don't think I know any in real life.

My favourite forms of Mary and Mariam and Maria. Also Mariana and Marisol if that counts. I only know one Mary and 2 Maries! It's a shame because it's such a beautiful and enduring name. Maria was the first name I ever really liked.

Let's see... I have 2 Great-Aunt Marys, one born in the 30s and one in the 40s. I've known at least 3 Marys around my mom's age, so born in the 50s. And I knew one Mary a little older than me, born in the early 80s. I think that's it.

I don't know anyone called Mary or Maria. I know one Marie, who is about 30 perhaps.
I quite like Molly, but it's too cutesey to use as a full name really (plus I know at least 3 dogs called Molly!). I don't really like any other versions of Mary.

I know/ am related to a whole ton of Marys, Maries and Marias. They vary in age from in their 80's down to the youngest Mary I know, she is 1 year old.

Most Marys I know are over 60, but I live in Massachusetts which has a high Catholic population, so I know at least one Mary in every age group. I know 3 or 4 Maries, one is in her 20s, the rest are in their 60s. I know about 4 (non-Hispanic) Marias around my age (30s-40s) and a couple in their 50s.
My favorite forms of Mary are Marya/Marja (MAHR ya) and Marianne.

I know a 3 year old Mary and a friend has a 2 year old niece named Mary. My husband's grandmother was Mary; she would be about 97. And I know/have known about 10 Mary's who are 60 or older. Oh and I worked with a Mary once who would be late 20's.

I know two young children named Mary, one is two and the other is three.
I know several adults named Mary mostly over 50 and mostly with a double name (i.e. Mary Helen, Mary Christelle, Mary Elizabeth, Mary Katherine).
I'm partial to Marianne, Annemarie, Molly, and Maura. I don't care for either Marie or Maria.

I love Mary and Marie. I'm not that fond of Maria, it has a dark blue color to it which isn't very attractive. It seems so cold.
I love Marie pronounced MAH-ree, which is the way it is pronounced in Switzerland. I would even use it if people would pronounce it that way, but they just wouldn't. Mairi could work, but I don't like the way it looks. I don't really like the look of Mari either.
I used to love Miriam, but not as much anymore.

Oddly enough I know about 10 girls with Mary as their first name who are all between the ages of 15 and 49 but none of them go by Mary. I think it's common as a first name, used by religious people especially in the South, but they give their daughters a trendy middle name and call her by that.
So far I know: Mary Walker (Walker), Mary Elle (Elle, she shares her name with an actress who is also Mary Elle "Elle" (Elle Fanning)), Mary Hannah (Hannah), Mary Ashleigh (Ashleigh), Mary Faith (Faith), Mary Grace (Grace), Mary Lee (Lee) and several others.

Form of Mary I like is Maria, followed by Molly. I also love Jose Maria and Gianmaria for a boy.

Not sure how many Marys, Maries and Marias I know. They vary in age. Most are adults though. Not being Catholic or in a Catholic part of the country, there weren't oodles and oodles in my life, but enough.
On a worldwide scale, it seems to be the most common female name out there and has no draw for me whatsoever.
The Japanese have some Mari names not directly connected with the Hebr. roots of the Mary names. It just works out with their syllabic language system and from that I like Marika with the kanji for the jasmine plant and fragrance.

Mary, Mair and Mari are my favorite forms of Mary. I know one Mary, my grandmother, whose full name is Marylou (although often enough she's just called Mary). I don't know anyone named Marie or Maria.
