I think it's sweet. I do the same thing with
Emily as I do with
Amanda-- I don't think about how common it is and instead picture it on a pioneer girl. Like Little House on the Prairie style. Then it becomes awesome.
That said, I do really like it as a middle name. It's really upbeat, and I think it goes well with something a little older sounding. Brightens it up. Like
Agnes Emily or
Fern Emily. But I also like it with other cute stuff like
Johanna Emily and Téa
Emily.
