Darius would be dark and mysterious. Above average intelligence and the propensity to use it rather connivingly. Not evil, just selfish. And clever enough not to get caught.
GF - His ex is as intelligent and sneaky as he is. Maybe a bit moreso, and that caused problems. His current girlfriend is shallow and has no idea what Darius is really about. Which is what he prefers.
