I adore Peony! I love that it's an underused flower name, and its classical associations delight me.

Lily is nice, albeit kind of boring due to overuse.

Noelle has a pleasing sound, but the name has always felt a little vacuous to me.

Eliana is a name I greatly dislike -- it's far too airy and insubstantial (so many vowels!) for my liking.

Eliana is beautiful, although a bit frilly and maybe becoming a bit trendy. It's the one I would choose to use.

I would choose Lily. I've loved it forever, even though it's gone from being laughably old-fashioned to horribly overused.

Next pick would be Peony. I prefer it spelt Paeony though, and tbh I wouldn't use it because it sounds too much like 'pee on me'

Eliana -- This is my fave because it's gorgeous, elegant, mature, sophisticated and offers several nn options if desired.

I do like Lily and Noelle as well. They each have a sweet, friendly quality to them although Lily is too popular for my tastes.

Eliana - beautiful meaning, I like the way it sounds and it is not a common name in Australia so it is nice and different.
Noelle - my grandfather who passed away was called Noel, so I like it for it honouring, I also like the meaning as well. Christmas names are nice.
Lily - it is very popular and I know many people with this name so I wouldn't use it for that reason, but it is a lovely name
Peony - it is to cute and sweet and there are other flower names that work better and sound more like names, whereas Peony seems a bit to flowery. It could be nice as a middle name

Eliana is just the nicest! I like it, even though it is a little plain seeming due to the frequency of Ellie and Anna.
I feel like Lily is weak and will go way out of style, Peony is awful sounding, and Noelle is just ... not my style, I get a stuck-up image from it for some reason.

In order of preference:

Generally speaking, I'm not a fan.

I might use Noel for a girl, as that would presumably put the emphasis on the first syllable instead of the second.

Lily is too popular, too meek and too droopy, Peony is too urinary-tract and Eliana looks as if it was put together from left-overs.

Eliana is my favorite. It feels more mature than the other names. Plus it works for all ages and has some good nn's. It blends well with my partially Latina ethnicity.

My least favorite is Noelle. I've never been fond of it. It seems a bit redneck and cheesy to me. It also sounds like "No L". I prefer Noel for boys but even that feels like someone trying too hard to seem classy to the point it becomes cheesy. Well unless you are a French person, then Noel and Noelle are okay. Though I do think naming your child Christmas has a certain level of cheese to it even if you are French.

Lily - It is a bit too popular, that is my biggest issue with it. It also sounds a bit young but it isn't that bad though I prefer Lillian.

Peony - Works well for all ages and it has elegance, grace, and strength but it also has a bit of an odd sound to it. But I can get past that odd sound enough to love it.

I like Noelle of the list. I would be far more likely to use it for personal family associations and also because I think it is just pretty.

Lily - I like this name. It has a "common" vibe right now, but is also timeless.
Peony - far spunkier than any of the other names. I think this is a bold choice, but I personally lean towards other bold flowers, if given the choice.
Noelle - darling. I don't hear it as a first name often and it is just a cheery name.
Eliana - Eh, I like it. it's pretty and elaborate but not my personal style. I think I like something more solid (like Elaine) better.

Lily - it's nice, but a bit worn out.
Peony - peonies are lovely flowers, but all I can see is "pee on me" (sorry, I know I'm childish).
Noelle - it's a beautiful name, but it makes me want to sing "Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, born is the King of Israel..." :)

I'd go with Lily. It's very popular here in Australia, but it's a lovely name. Peony and Noelle are fine for mns, but I don't like them for fns. Eliana is nice, I love the meaning, but again I prefer it for a mn.
