[Facts] Is Felix a nickname for Felicity?
Cause I have a friend named Felicity who wants a nickname. She thought of Felix but I'm not quite sure...
If not, and suggestions?

I used to know a Felicity who pretty much only answered to Felix. So it has happened - she was a student nurse at the time, not a flighty schoolgirl. Most other Felicity people I've known have either stayed with the full name or become Lissie. I've heard of Flick as a possibility, but never met one.

Ok by the way everyone she said she still liked Felix but she also liked Fliss. What would be better?

Both names share the ultimate root of Latin "felix" meaning "lucky". The names are related in origin but were not strictly made as masculine / feminine variants of each other. As far as I'm aware Felix is not known as a nickname for Felicity, but that doesn't discount being able to use it by any means. Nicknames and diminutives can take many forms, in fact the name Felix itself is derived from a nickname for a lucky person.! - Edited to answer second part of question. Possible nicknames for Felicity are:
Flick
Fliss
Feliz
Fee
Feli
Fel
Fifi
Lissie

Louis Tomlinson's sister Félicité goes by Fizzy. Just a suggestion.

Ok thanks. She actually is going to get all of her family to vote between Fizzy and Felix. I think Fizzy would be better and I will show her this to get her thinking.
