Love it, very fresh sounding to me.

It’s my name! That being said, I’m not massive on it - it could be a lot worse, but the sound is just kind of annoying and unpleasant to me, and frankly the amount of people who think their Christmas Eve jokes are funny or original is astounding. It also comes with the obvious nickname Evie, which I don’t really like anyone other than my little sister calling me - and many possibilities for full versions, which I get asked about a lot!Overall though, I don’t mind it, and I definitely prefer it to my middle name.

Prefer Evadne to Eve, but that is just my personal opinion and it is a nice name.I think the association with holidays is nice, like Christmas Eve and All Hallows Eve, and that the association with the Biblical character is mixed. Evangeline is too frilly, while Eve is simple and sweet like Amy or Ann, which I admire lately. My mom knows of a cute little girl names Eve which I think fits nice with her brothers name. He is a Ethan.

Eve has recently become a favorite of mine. I just love how simple yet strong it is.

I love it, one of my faves. It's simple, but so beautiful. I love the meaning of the name too. It was one of the names we considered when pregnant with Eden, but Eden was pretty much always our top choice, so we had to go with it. If I had another DD, I'd definitely consider it again, just lovely.

I love Eve and prefer it to Eva, however, my surname has one syllable so I wouldn't go there. I could picture myself using it as a mn though.

I like Eve quite a bit. A good step above Eva - it feels stronger, and more distinct. And it's very elegant for a one-syllable name. However, I have a harder time finding combos I like with it than with Eva. I think I'd use it as MN. Doesn't go great with my top FN right now, though.

It's nice, though I personally prefer Eva.

Very pretty and established without being too popular. I infinitely prefer it over Evie

I generally don't like one-syllable names, but Eve is an exception. It just sounds so elegant, and IMO that's not an easy feat for a one-syllable name.

I LOVE Eve. I prefer it over Eva, Evelyn or any other variant. As a child, I had a best friend called Eve, she often went by Evie instead and I sometimes called her "E". She'd be in her early 20's now. She's the only Eve I've never met in real life.Eve is on my long list and has flittered in and out of my top ten. For me it's sweet, simple and beautiful. For a little while I preferred it as a nickname for Genevieve but now I've gone back to liking it as a full name in its own right, I think it's substantial enough.
