As a pair with Miriam, I like Paul the most. Paul is just as kind and warm sounding as Miriam.
Adam is sterile to me, but I think a that's a specific quirk I have because of people I've met with that name.
Malcolm is my favorite of the bunch. It's equally strong and soft.
Julian is rich and haughty, I still love it but I don't think it works as well as the others with Miriam.
