What are your opinions on the name Angus? It was my great, great grandfather's name who was from Inverness, Scotland. I think handsome. The beef doesn't really bother me at all. The only problem I have is the similarity to the word Anus. Does that drive you away?

I think Angus is super cute. I didn’t even think of the anus association personally. But it’s a really handsome name, but can also fit someone who is soft and sweet too

I love Angus. It's so huggable.

I wanted to name our cat Angus. But we settled on Fergus instead.

I like it a lot. Beef and body parts don't worry me at all. I wouldn't use it unless I had vast numbers of sons - there are lots of names I like better - but I've always wanted to use it for a male Scottish terrier!

I never would have thought “anus” if you hadn’t said it. Or beef, but it does make me think of highland cattle and they are adorable. I love Angus :)
