Definitely not Margaret because I just don't like the sound of it.
If it were Maria vs Marjorie, I'd go with Maria instead.

Definitely not Marjorie (variants included) that ones an immediate no for me. I guess I'll pick Mary even though I don't have the best personal experiences with it, with one person in particular. However against Margaret, it just has a better sound and appearance to it. Has more of appeal, although I certainly would never use it myself.
