and why?

Alisha because I'm so sick of Ashley.

I don’t really care for either but if I had to pick I’d go with Alicia. I don’t like the Alisha spelling.

I don’t like either, but I’ll take Ashley because Alisha reads to me as uh-LISH-uh and that’s just gross.

Ashley. I know it's a little dated and has been overused, but it has such a pretty sound, like an ash tree blowing in the breeze (at least to me). I don't much care for Alisha, and if anything I would prefer it spelled Alicia.

Yikes, they're both unappealing. Alisha, I guess??

Ashley is the name chosen by a Taiwanese pupil of mine as her English name. Her English teacher in Taipei had 'named' her Susannah, which she disliked. Someone suggested Ashley, and she loved it. I had to reassure her that it has nothing to do with the product of combustion! She also loved the idea of an ash tree in a meadow.I don't much like Ashley: just another lnfn, and rather dated by now. And Alisha, with that spelling, sounds like a sneeze. Alicia, if anything, but I much prefer and would use Alice.

Ashley. It's a name I've always loved. I really like Alisha too, but I prefer the spelling Alicia.
