I like it. It's so cute and pretty. I like Amelia and Emilia tho.
I've never been a fan of Emily. I like Emma better because of Jane Austen's book. I always imagine a deep green emerald when thinking of either name, but especially Emily. I have not met many Emilys in real life, I'm just not a fan.

Ugh. I love the look, sound, and history as I said in another post, but every single Emily I met has been an absolute witch. Besides, it's way too popular to use. It's lost its sparkle.
Too common to use, but very pretty. Girl-next-door, approachable, friendly, humble. Better than Emma by a lot, but I prefer Emilia a lot more. However, I'm still more likely to use Emmeline because it's the least popular of the Em- names, as I recall.
I agree with everyone that it's pretty but overused and that its popularity puts me off using it (same for Emma as well - I grew up around a lot of girls named Emma as well). Some similar sounding names I like are: Emilia, Emiliana, Emilda, Emmeline, Emeline, Emelina, Emelita, Emelota and Amelina.
I go back and forth between thinking it's pretty but overused, and thinking it's just overused.Might be interesting as a middle name.
It's really pretty and classic and goes well with other names I like such as Sophie and Lydia. However, the popularity means that it's just a no for me. It's been completely overused. I can see why, because it's a great name, but I could never consider it.
I often enjoy it as a middle name. As a first name, it's too tired.
The ultimate girl next door name. The oatmeal cookies of names. Classic, plain, homey; comforting and nostalgic some times, boring at others. I don't mind Emily, especially in the middle. It's really cute there.
It's better than Emma, anyway. It's very "basic" to me and like Julia, it makes me think of a prim, purse-mouthed young lady who can't just read classics just because, she has to make an issue of reading classics rather than, ugh, popular fiction!
It's fine I just like Emma, Amalie, Amelie more.
Classic. Of course.
I like it. Because personally, I feel that is pretty.
Overused but still beautiful. I used to dislike it until I met someone named this. I love Emilia, though.
Emily is a family name going back to the 19th century; I've always loved it, which is odd because I can't stand Amelia and Emma.
It's rather boring to me and lacking confidence. I prefer Emma or Emilia.
Ok name, I like more than Emma. Prefer Amelia.
Emily has been super popular which kind of wore me out.
