Which girl's name do you prefer with the surname Harmon? Also, what do you think of the name Carissa in general?

I love Carissa, and prefer it to the over-used, over-popular EmilyEmily is nice, but my gosh, way too common. Carissa is perfectly nice, and she'd never have to worry about sharing her name with multiple classmates/coworkers.

Emily is a lovely name, but it's so common. Carissa is nice as well. Carissa Emily Harmon would be a nice combo. I really think that you should use Emily as a middle name rather than a first name. Your daughter will probably thank you for naming her Carissa rather than Emily since Emily has been the number one name for girls for the past decade. If you go with Emily, she will probably get tired of being referred to as Emily H. since there's a very high chance that she will share her name with at least one other classmate. I speak from experience. My parents gave me the most popular name for girls during the year I was born, and I hated being referred to as Jessica M. It was also very confusing because everytime someone said my name, I wasn't sure if they were addressing me or another Jessica. Carissa Emily Harmon would be a nice combo. I really think that you should use Emily as a middle name rather than a first name.

Emily HarmonI like Carissa but spelled Karissa. I had a good friend named Karissa so I could be biased towards the name. LOL :)

I really like Carissa, but I think I'm one of the few. Emily is okay, but a little bit bland for my taste.Check Out Blinkyou.com for thousands of custom glitters and layouts

I prefer Emily Harmon. While Carissa's certainly fresher than Emily, I have bad associations with one--so I don't like it at all.Clarissa Harmon would be my first choice, really. :)Array

Carissa x10000000000.It's not one I've ever heard before now, and -issa names aren't really my style. But it sounds good with Harmon, and is way better than Emily.
