[Opinions] Malachi
My sister and her fiance are going to TTC their 1st baby after their wedding in a month. They are thinking about the name Malachi (or Malachy, not sure of the spelling for their son. What do you all think?Check Out Blinkyou.com for thousands of custom glitters and layouts

Love Malachi - one of my top 10 favorites for boys. I'm afraid it's becoming too popular though. Malachy is yuck.

I think it's a creepy name. It's so Children of the Corn to me. It kind of gives me the Bible-thumper creeps, sort of like Mordecai and Ezekiel do. It's definitely not my thing.

Nothing wrong with it. As a matter of fact, Malachi has been one of the faster growing boys' names in the USA recently. There were over three thousand boys born in the USA in 2005 given the name, ranking it 137th when the SSA list is modified so that spellings pronounced the same are counted together. And the name was not even on the SSA top 1000 list until 1990.
