[Opinions] Tristan?
What is your opinion of this name? I really like it and I see it alot on the polls! I would probably name my future son this but I like how its delicate sounding (in my opinion)but you don't think this is a name that someone would get made fun of over do you? Because I really like it and might consider it someday for my future child. What is your opinion of it?

I'm not overly fond of Tristan. The first thing to come to mind is the tale of Tristan and Isolde.

I have a baby nephew named Tristan-however, he's in France, -don't know if it's popular there?

I really dislike Tristan, I'm sorry.
I have a feeling it will get very trendy, an no, I don't think it's a name a boy will get teased for.

I have a pretty bad personal association with this name, so I don't like it at all. :( What makes it even worse for me was that it was a female Tristan. So yeah, not a fan at all, sorry.

I love the name Tristan, for a boy it's just so strong and masculine, yet really cute and has a romantic edge (i.e. the legend of Tristan & Isolde). I really don't see (beyond 'Tristan & Isolde') any teasing possibilities at all.
Tristan Spencer and Tristan Pearce are two of my favorite combos!
Laurie :)

I adore Tristan! It's one of my favourite names. I would consider using it, although if I did happen to have a little boy I'd be more inclined to use a name that doesn't often get described as "so feminine-sounding" :(
