HelpRe: Is it wierd to give your kids mexican names if your not Mexican?

I think all names can be used on all people, whether one is Mexican or not. If we were to only use names that correspond with our religion or nationality, we would live in a very bland world.
As for the name Esteban, I don't care for it. I much prefer Steven.
