I like Jessa a lot whereas I've never liked the 'sica' part of Jessica. I know a lot of people consider it a short form of Jessica, but why can't it be a feminine form of Jesse?

I actually like it if given a choice between Jessa and Jessica, but it sounds a bit incomplete, and like it's screaming for a -lyn or something else horridly tryndee. However, I adore Jessamine (last part prn. MIN).

I do not like it. Jessica or Jenna is better. Jesse is good on a boy.

I love this name; it's been on my list for a long time. I think it's very pretty and more interesting than Jessica. Love it!

As a NN for Jessica I suppose it's alright, but I can't see it being used as a FN and then aging well.

Jessa is little odd. Not my style :-((

It's okay. I agree with pp that it doesn't sound finished. It would be a cute nn for Jessica, Jessimine, etc.

I don't like it. It just looks and sounds so unfinished

I really like it, although I like Jenna even more. I know it's a bit cutsey, and I can't see it aging well, but something about Jessa really appeals to me. If I didn't have a sister calld Jessica, J3essa would probably be in my Top 10.
