Irene
WDYT? I know it's considered a bit of an "old lady's name", but I like it and love its meaning. In my language, it would be pronounced "ee-REH-neh", with two open "e" sounds as in "bet", but I like the English pronounciation too. I'm also toying with Shulamit and Irene as a "hidden theme" twinset.

I think Irene is a beautiful name. I prefer Irene and Salome as hidden theme names though.

Irene is a beautiful name with a lovely meaning. To be honest, I like any pronunciation of Irene. I like the English once less so that the Greek, Spanish and German ones, but I still like it. :)Shulamit is a nice name. I don't know if I like it with Irene, though. They don't seem to 'go together', IMO.
