WDYT of Gemma?
I know it rhymes with Emma. Do you think Gemma is a nice alternative to Emma? Any combo ideas?

I think Gemma is adorable, and a great alternative to Emma. I like Gemma Caroline.

It's really 80s and dated where I live, I know so many Gemmas and Jemma's in their 20s it's become boring.

I think it's a great name. I suggested it to my parents when they were naming my sister, and they ended up using it. Now I wish I'd kept it to use myself! For some reason I love it even though I dislike Emma, which is pretty similar. As far as mns go, my sister is Gemma Louise, which flows, but Louise is way overused as a mn. I also know a Gemma Lucy, but I don't think that flows very well. Suggestions:Gemma Bryony
Gemma Leonie

I love Gemma. Gemma has a completely different feel to me than Emma, despite their similar sound. Gemma is quite refreshing to me, esp compared to Emma.
