Naamah
WDYTO Naamah for a girl? Would you pronounce it NAY-a-ma or nah-ah-MAH. I'm leaning more to nah-ah-MAH. Any middle name suggestions? Thanks

I love Naamah on a girl. It's one of my favorite Biblical names (liked more than all Bibical names except Eve & Zipporah). I pronounce it NAY-a-ma.

Looking at it, I would say, "NAH-muh."The "nah-ah-MAH" pronunciation is going to be extremely difficult to pull off, at least here in the U.S.

NAH-ma [m]i would pronounce it 'NAH-ma'.
it just looks like a jumble of letters like an anagram or something.
i something like Naomi or Mara would be nicer.

It's NMS. . . . NAY-a-ma sounds fake and nah-ah-MAH is, at least for me, hard to annunciate each syllable. And a MN seems difficult. I'll give you some traditional suggestions. Naamah Catherine, Naamah Elizabeth, Naamah Marie, Naamah Ruth, Naamah Louise, Naamah Lenore . . . any of these strike your fancy?

I'm Jewish, so nah-ah-mah for me! I must say I generally dislike the English pronunciation of Jewish names lolWhat kind of second name do you want? Hebrew, English, Yiddish?

Interesting. I had never heard of this before and would have guessed an African or Arabic origin rather than a Hebrew one. I'd say NAH-ma or Nah-AH-mah.

I don't mind what kind of middle name. I'm trying to look for something that flows well.
