I've always admired this name; however, I encountered a petulant teacher in ninth grade who (among other indignities) resented my cursive and forced me to write in print. I like this name because it reminds me of Bernadette Peters. I'd always thought of it as a "middle name"-name, but you know? It would sound just as pretty as a fn! Out of your combos, my favorite mn's for it would be:
