Calix and Felix
I've noticed lately that a lot more people like the name Felix than I would have thought. Also, I've recently come across the name Calix, which reminds me greatly of the name Felix because of the ending. So what do you think? Do you like Calix? Felix? Neither? Both?I think Cal would be a cute nickname for a Calix.

I like Calix and Cal as a nn. Except for the fact that the meaning of Calix suggests a symbolically feminine object (a goblet). That actually puts me off it as a male name. Maybe I'm just weird about that stuff. But same goes for Haven on males. It's just wrong to me. Or Pilar for a woman. I love the sound of the name, but ... not for my daughter!I don't like the sound of Felix very much. Feel licks. It squicks me out. But it's a fine name, I guess.

I like Felix. I like Calix, but it comes across as feminine to me. I think it reminds me of Callista, but whatever the reason, it just doesn't feel like a male name to me. I like them both, but I don't love either of them.

Felix is gonna be sooooo popular. It's a punch-packin' name. I love it, I want to name a kid it.Calix is neat too. The cornball in me just got delighted at the thought of twins/brothers named Felix and Calix. I like the meaning of Calix too.

I love the name Felix and have for years. As for Calix, well I'm not so fond of that name tbh.

Felix is a great name (my #2) but I don't like Calix at all.

Calix looks like a mix of Caleb and Felix, it's not bad, not my style though....

Felix is my current favorite for a boy, though lately Jasper has been an apt rival and does eclipse it for me on occasion.I find Calix to be too fanciful and unestablished for my liking. It reminds me of Calico.
