Ingrid
Ingrid's my new girl favorite name (I really need to get off this I kick). Even though it's the opposite of frilly, it puts me to mind of ballerinas and the color white. I like how Ingrid manages to be down-to-earth and yet delicate at the same time. Anyway, WDYT? Any mn suggestions?

I love it too! Like you, I like it because it's not frilly yet clearly a female name. (I find that many of the currently fashionable girl's names fall into the polar opposite camps: either very unisex or very frilly.)

Ingrid is the first name I can remember liking as a child and I still love it! It's definitely graceful without being frilly. Ancient and almost magical.Favourites at the moment:
