Harvest Moon is corny, yes UNLESS it's a GP and then anything goes!!!Harvest with something more traditional would be killerFunny that you think of the nn Harvey,I thought Harvest was female when I opened the post... I would probably call Harvest by Ves if he was a boy and Vessa if she was a girl. Harvey is pretty cool though!

I think Harvest is definitely a GP name, especially Harvest Moon. I do love Harvey though. Why not use Harvey as the given name and Harvest as a cute nickname, even if it's just occasional or within the family.

I really can't see it as a name.

I love Harvest as a GP.

I like Harvest as a GP. I think it would sound very handsome on a boy, but maybe best left to the middle name slot.

Love it as a MN name or a GP, not a fan of it as a real name though. Harvest Moon is definitely over the top.

"Harvest Moon" - no. It's the name of a videogame, if I remember correctly. I think this is strictly in GP land.Harvest- tentatively usable. I do like Harvey.

Harvest Moon makes me feel sick to my stomach.
Harvest would be a neat GP name (I secretly like names like Meadow and Clover, so why not?), but Moon would just be sad.
I hate the nn Harvey, sorry.

GP, yes! Name for daily use, No!That's how I see it.

It sounds nice. I don't like it enough to use it, but I'd like to see it on someone else. I think it's better suited for a boy and Harvey is a good nickname. Makes me think of the movie Harvey and that big bunny :)I wouldn't use Harvest Moon, though. It's too much. It needs a classic middle name, something like Harvest James or Harvest Richard. On the other hand it sounds weird combined with a more normal name. As if you should go and harvest James. I know you can't really harvest a person but it sounds like it.

I'd say Harvest Moon is too corny, but Harvest is usable. I used to know of someone who had a wife named Harvest. I don't like the sound of the word enough to use it as a name myself, but I like the meaning. I automatically think "male" when I see/hear Harvey, but it could work as a nickname for Harvest. I take it this is for a girl?

No.I like it for a boy...maybe a different middle name would work,

In that case, Harvey would work really well.I think an unmistakably masculine or at least typically masculine middle name would be the best way to go to avoid some of the gender confusion. Harvest Jonathan, Harvest Leon, Harvest Gabriel, and Harvest Dominic come to mind.

Harvest Moon looks really ridiculous, as it's the name of a video game series. Sorry.

I did not know it was a video game series...but thanks for the opinion
