India
I'm not a big fan of place names, but India has grown on me. What do you think of it, and what are some good combos you can think of? Thanks. :)

I am not crazy about it. It has such an exoticness to it that I don't think many could pull it off.

I like India. Ever since I read it as a character name in Gone With the Wind, it has a rich, sultry Southern flair to it, which makes it infinitely more interesting than just a place name. Therefore I like pairing it with what I consider rich, sultry Southern namesIndia Delilah
India Caroline
India Eulalie
India Tallulah
India Mabel
India Cleo
India Melanie
India Jemima
India Stella (though I like Stella India better)
India Mamie
India Vivienne
India Belle
India Bonnie
India Eugenie
India Camille
India Claudette
India Hetty, India HattieI also think something really informal like India Lu or India Em would be kinda neat.

I used to dislike it because of the random place-name-iness of it, but eventually I started seeing it in this neat dark, exotic, imperial era sort of way and I like it now. My combos sort of stuck with that image: India Eleanor and India Alexandra were my very favorites.

It's okay. Not really my style. Although I don't mind it as a given name, since it seems to have been used for a while now.

India is very pretty, but I haven't really warmed up to the idea of place names entirely.

India is cute but for some reason I can't picture what a child named India would look like. Place names make me think of the place themselves, so naturally I think of what they would look like in comparison to the name.

I think it is pretty. Indy would be a very cute NN too.
