WDYT of Millicent?
It is one of those names that has always stayed on my long list but never really made the top- I am really loving at the moment though.
WDYT of Millicent? I'd almost certainly call her Millie as a nickname a good deal of the time- WDYT of Millie?Combo suggestions would also be wonderful! Thanks!

I'm not a big fan of Millicent, but I think it is nice. What I don't like about it is the milli- part, which makes me think of very small fractions.I prefer Melicent.

I've always found Millicent to be a very mean-sounding name, likely because it reminds me of Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. So I've never really liked the name. Now, Melisande and Melisende, on the other hand, are beautiful names.

I really like Millie, but Millicent is just okay. I would probably use another name for Millie, like Amelia, Emilia, or Camilla.

I actually know a little girl called Millicent, and she always gets called Millie. It's definitely not my style, but I don't have anything else against it.

It has an upscale, formal vibe.

I prefer Mélisande, but Millicent has grown on me. I'm not wild about the Mill- part at the beginning. I don't care for Millie all that much because it sounds too cutesy to me, but I can tolerate it.Combos:Millicent Pearl

It goes back and forth on my list, too. Sometimes I really like it and sometimes I think it won't really work on a child today. But I'm always fond of it. It's got that buttoned-up vibe that I find appealing in a lot of names. Millie is spunkier, though. I do like Millie, but I love Minnie.

This was one of my favorite names as a kid. I think that I had a doll I named Millicent. I still have a soft spot for it. Millie is cute. I'd like to see a baby Millicent nn Millie.
