Amelia
Opinion time again! What are your thoughts on Amelia? I've discovered that it has grown on me massively recently, even though I used to hate it before. I've just begun thinking up combos for it but I only have:
Amelia Lynn Marie (Lynn and Marie would be honouring) OR
Amelia Lynn
Amelia Elyse
Amelia Jane (Simple, but I like the class of it)
Amelia Mathilde

Amelia is lovely, classy, and melodic.I adore it. Your middle names leave something to be desired for me. Try:Amelia Catherine
Amelia Charlotte
Amelia Frances
Amelia Josephine
Amelia Katherine
Amelia Susanna

yawnEveryone used to love it when I joined this website in 2007. It's ok but I find it boring. Amelia Mathilde is my favourite of your combos.

I really like it.My only surviving great-grandmother is named Amelia Maude. She's 98. But I don't really like Maude - I prefer something more like Josephine or Charlotte as a MN for Amelia.

I feel the opposite. I used to like Amelia, but now it's sounding more and more like a disease of sorts.Out of your combos, the only one I don't like is Amelia Mathilde, too many early M sounds for me.

Amelia has been a bit more popular recently but it's such a beautiful classic name that it's delightful to see it used!
I've recently started liking it even more since I met up with two different girls named Amelia who both go by "Amy" (my favorite girls name) and it made Amelia soar to the top of my favorites list! :)Amelia Lynne Is a bit plain but Amelia Lynne Marie dresses it up a bit and is actually quite pretty.
Amelia Jane is also a bit plain when you think about it but I love Jane so I think it's gorgeous!
Elyse and Mathilde are both nice but don't quite have the right flow to them next to Amelia. Are you looking for other combos? I'll put a few here for your perusal. Amelia Sadie
Amelia Pearl
Amelia Irene
Amelia Claire / Clare
Amelia Caroline
Amelia Hope
Amelia Frances
Amelia Ruth
Amelia Violet
Amelia Jeanette
Amelia Lucille
Amelia Rosemary Any you like?I just adore Amelia! Oh, and I've heard Mia and Millie both used as nicknames, not that Amelia really needs a nickname! :)

I despise it. I think it's a bland, limping little name with no color or personality. I think it would be perfect for a quiet mouse of a girl with no backbone. It is one of my most hated names, and I am glad it hasn't become more popular.Having said that, I will say that Amelia Jane is the best combo. I would call her A.J.

I love the name Amelia, but it's just a little too popular here in Australia for me. Amelia Jane is my fave combo, because as you said, it's simple but classic. Amelia Mathilde and Amelia Elyse are both nice too.
